An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable, safety conscious, experienced Project manager-Quarries to become part of the Hallett Group team

We are seeking a highly motivated professional Project Manager-Quarries who has attention for detail, a willingness and ability to fulfil a broad range of operational requirements based at our dry creek and other quarry sites in the business which may mean occasional short stays away from home.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
* Developing capital project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
* Ensure resource availability and allocation
* Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
* Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
* Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
* Report and escalate to management as needed
* Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks
* Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Identifying and reporting hazards
* Previous experience in Crushing & screening upgrade capital projects
* Conduct structural safety audit /inspection on Fixed crushing plants & associate equipment
Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in engineering (Preferred)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent communication and planning skills
* Proven previous experience in continuous improvement and cost reduction
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Project scheduling and planning (e.g., Gantt charts, MS Project, Primavera)
* Cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management
* Resource allocation and production planning
* Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety standards
* Risk assessment and hazard management
* Leading cross-functional teams (operators, engineers, contractors, consultants)
* Workforce planning and supervision
