This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts, mainly in mining, and driving revenue, margin, and long‐term partnerships through a consultative and solutions‐focused approach. You will work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, provide tailored product and service solutions, and ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery. Duties
* Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial and service requirements.
* Build strong, long‐term customer relationships to secure, retain, and expand existing business.
* Identify opportunities to increase revenue, margins, and customer profitability through proactive account management and value‐based selling.
* Understand customer operations and safety requirements to deliver tailored product, pricing, and service solutions.
* Implement account plans aligned with broader business objectives and sales strategies.
* Work closely with internal teams across operations, customer service, supply chain, and leadership to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor account performance, service levels, and KPIs, addressing issues proactively and professionally.
* Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and commercial insights.
* Travel as required within the territory to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a B2B Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar customer‐facing commercial role.
* Demonstrated success managing and growing customer accounts within a competitive market.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pricing, margins, and customer profitability.
* Excellent relationship‐building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly developed communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and time‐management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Results‐driven mindset with a proactive and solution‐focused approach.
* Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Experience within distribution, industrial, safety, or services‐based B2B environments will be highly regarded.
