Job Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate chef to join our team in providing high-quality meals and exceptional service to our residents.
The focus of this role is to plan, order, and prepare meals that enhance the resident's dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods. This includes ensuring a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures.
* Planning and preparing meals that meet the dietary needs of residents
* Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
This is a casual role working Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5:30pm.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Experience in a residential aged care kitchen environment, including ordering, budgeting, and rostering
* Familiarity with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation
