Job Overview
As a key member of our team, the Senior Avionics Engineer will contribute to the development and certification of capability enhancements to the C-27J aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
* Development, review, and approval of technical repair and design documents for various aircraft avionics/electrical and/or electronic systems
* Providing engineering input to maintain the C-27J configuration, technical and operational publications
* Ensuring accuracy in updating the Engineering Task management database and other tools with relevant information
* Analysis and report preparation for meetings
* Management of engineering workflows and tasks in coordination with customer organization priorities to ensure airworthiness, mission capability, and aircraft availability
About This Role
An AGSVA security clearance at NV 1 is required.
A Bachelor's degree in aerospace avionics and/or electrical/electronic engineering and Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ are essential qualifications.
Minimum 3+ years' experience as an avionics and/or electrical/electronic engineer in Defence Aviation is required.
