Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to fill the role of Senior Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tier 2 support and maintaining multiple large enterprise environments spanning CONUS and OCONUS boundaries.
Responsibilities:
* System Administrative duties to include management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVDI and physical systems
* Troubleshooting application functionality, crash and performance issues
* Investigating user performance and working with external teams to improve user experience
* Assisting customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications
* Providing remote end-user desktop support
* Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system incidents with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
Requirements:
* 4-7 years of related experience and knowledge/understanding of Active Directory Administration, DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP, Windows 10, Server operating systems, Application Troubleshooting, Linux Operating system, Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process, ITIL v3 or higher
* Understanding of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, PowerShell, Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix), Profile management utilizing VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset, Microsoft Exchange, Telephone/Video support, Networking, Familiarity with site-specific customer and mission
* Certification Requirement (IAT II)
