Tour Leader – Overview

Responsibilities
* Provide amazing customer service and travel advice, telling stories around a campfire, leading hikes to impressive views, or cooking delicious campsite meals.
* Ensure the safety and well‐being of your travellers, handling difficult situations calmly and professionally.
* Host, lead, and execute tours on budget, following the itinerary and fulfilling administrative duties.
* Be passionate about travel and share your love of it with our customers, embodying our core values of Real, Together, Ambitious, and Impactful.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a physically demanding role in a remote setting, preferably as a tour guide in Australia.
* Strong customer service experience and ability to build rapport with a broad range of travellers.
* Full rights to work in Australia.
* Willingness to obtain a Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (or a mutually recognisable public passenger vehicle licence), a Medium Rigid Driver's Licence, a food safety certificate, and a Remote First Aid & CPR certificate before commencing.
* Experience manual driving off sealed roads, preferably in a large vehicle (desirable).
What you need to know
* This is a casual position that offers flexibility in when and how you work; great availability is always an asset.
* Tour Leaders will operate tours in the Kimberley ASAP until approximately October, with the opportunity to continue year‐round in various locations across the country.
* You will run hiking and camping tours ranging from 6–14 days and serve as guide, driver, and cook with fellow leaders.
* Prepare mentally and physically for long days.
