About the role
We're looking for an Agricultural Sales Representative to build strong relationships with local farming customers while providing trusted technical advice across our product and service range. This is a hands‐on, field‐based role combining technical support, account management, and new business development across the region. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal technical teams to support farm production goals and drive sustainable sales growth.
Responsibilities
* Build strong, long‐term relationships with farming customers
* Visit customers and understand their farm needs
* Provide practical advice on products and seasonal farming requirements
* Promote AG Warehouse products and services
* Develop new customers within your territory
* Manage customer activity, documentation, and monthly sales reporting
* Support field days, demonstrations, and product trials with suppliers
* Stay up to date with agronomy, nutrition, pasture, and industry developments
About you
* Background or qualification in Agriculture (or relevant on‐farm experience)
* Experience in agricultural or rural sales (or ready for your next step)
* Good understanding of farming operations and rural customers
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* Self‐motivated and comfortable working in the field
* Organized and able to manage your own time
