About Our Electrical Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and documenting electrical systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients and attend site/project meetings to gather technical information and support design, contract, and variation requirements.
* Perform calculations, develop electrical designs and control strategies, and specify suitable equipment to meet project scope and standards.
* Design electrical and mechanical layouts of flameproof equipment in line with Australian Mining and Electrical Standards.
* Provide technical support across our product range and collaborate with Project Managers on contract variations and tender reviews.
* Review designs in progress to ensure quality and compliance, maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with company and customer systems.
* Coordinate and document installation, testing, commissioning, and training activities, including preparation of work packages, risk assessments, and test plans.
* Deliver technical training and support to clients and internal teams.
* Prepare compliance documentation, including certificates, statements of compliance, and approval documents.
* Ensure all documentation complies with internal QA processes, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
* Provide timely and accurate project updates to customers and project teams.
About You
You must have a Bachelor's Degree (or Diploma) in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering. You should also have proven experience in electrical design, preferably within mining, energy, or heavy industry.

* Strong understanding of Australian Mining and Electrical Standards.
* Experience with electrical system design, testing, and commissioning.
* Proficiency with CAD and engineering design software.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
