About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead our APAC region's data science team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making and developing strategies to improve our credit products.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 4 Data Scientists responsible for credit decisioning across our Philippines (Cashalo) and India (NIRA) businesses.
* Collaborate with leadership teams of Cashalo and NIRA to refine and execute their business plans.
* Work closely with the Global Head of Data Science to implement process and operational frameworks to allow us to scale the team.
* Develop and maintain technical solutions and design ensuring they align to business goals.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience leading a team of Data Scientists, ideally across regions.
* Strong technical background as a Data Scientist.
* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, with ability to translate technical outcomes to business outcomes.
* Expertise in timeline and expectation management - a strong project management mindset.
* Experience working in credit or banking industries.
