Key responsibilities include: Providing professional supervision, coaching and mentoring to staff Supporting practitioners in managing complex cases and risk Delivering training, workshops and professional development initiatives Conducting practice reviews, audits and observations Supporting ethical, accountable and evidence-based practice Working collaboratively with managers to build workforce capability Assisting with performance development and improvement processes Researching and promoting contemporary therapeutic approaches and best practice frameworks Contributing to organisational leadership, strategic planning and continuous improvement activities As a member of the Management Team, you will have the opportunity to influence professional practice across the organisation and help shape the future direction of our services. Desired Skills and Experience About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work At least five years' experience within the social or community services sector Significant experience supervising, mentoring or leading practitioners Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practice Experience supporting complex case management, risk assessment and professional decision-making Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills The ability to challenge, support and develop practitioners in a constructive manner Strong organisational and time management skills Highly Regarded General Registration as a Psychologist with supervision approval; or Eligibility for, or membership of, the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Experience developing and delivering professional development programs Knowledge of community services legislation and compliance requirements Requirements Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain: Current Queensland Driver Licence Working with Children Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Eligibility to work in Australia Apply now.
