Role Overview The Systems Administrator will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the organisation's IT systems. This role plays a key part in supporting staff, maintaining infrastructure, and enabling smooth day-to-day operations across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and core business systems. Oversee network administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connectivity. Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning. Provide Level 2-3 technical support to staff and resolve escalated incidents. Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers, and system configurations. Implement cybersecurity best practices and support compliance requirements. Support technology projects, cloud migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience Required Strong experience as a Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar. Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, and Office 365. Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching). Experience managing backups, storage, and disaster recovery tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
