Trinamic Consultants is a well-established Adelaide-based building services consultancy delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire designs across commercial, industrial, education, and government sectors.
We are looking for an entry level/developing
Electrical Engineer
with some prior building services design experience to join our team and to take the next step in their career. The successful applicant will work under our existing senior staff on a wide range of projects and will eventually progress to leading internal teams in delivering projects from concept to end of construction stage.
Overview of role:
* Assist in the design and documentation of
electrical building services
, including lighting, power distribution, communications, and specialist systems.
* Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project leaders to deliver coordinated design solutions from concept to construction.
* Undertake site inspections, attend meetings, and provide advice on construction-phase services with guidance from senior staff.
* Contribute to project delivery, client liaison, and coordination with other building services disciplines.

Prerequisites:
* 2–6 years' experience in
electrical building services design
within the Australian market.
* Familiarity with
power, lighting, and communication system
design principles.
* Working knowledge of the
National Construction Code
, relevant
Australian Standards
, and engineering documentation practices.
* Experience with
AutoCAD and/or Revit
, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
* Degree-qualified in
Electrical or Building Services Engineering
(or equivalent) preferred, however diploma or demonstrated experience will also be considered.
* A proactive attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Progress toward or interest in
Chartered or Registered Engineer
status is desirable but not essential.
