Job Description
We are seeking applications for a Team Leader position to join our warehousing and packing team at our Moree, NSW site. The role will assist the Site Manager in all activities on site, driving continuous improvement across business processes and procedures. The Team Leader will drive operational synergies across warehouse and packing operations and assist with customer management, ensuring a high level of professionalism with all stakeholders and strong planning and coordination to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. The role has a strong focus on creating, operating, and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist to create, operate and maintain a positive safety culture across all activities on-site.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to manage day-to-day activities and achieve business outcomes.
- Manage operations at the packing and warehouse facilities as required by the Site Manager.
- Help develop and drive a positive team culture through proactive leadership, mentoring and feedback to Site Operators.
- Develop operational strategies that maximise site efficiencies while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
- Support the Site Manager in managing staff requirements to maximise labour utilization.
- Maximise allocation and utilisation of equipment across activities.
- Assist in the maintenance of site machinery, including development of a preventative maintenance program.
- Enforce strict adherence to Department of Agriculture requirements at all times.
- Ensure presentation and cleanliness of all areas of the site are maintained.
Qualifications
Experience
- Open manual license
- Forklift ticket
- Accredited Officer (AQIS) or willingness to obtain
- Confined space ticket or willingness to obtain
- EWP Ticket or willingness to obtain
