This role involves selecting and integrating test system, developing test software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in electrical and mechanical engineering, programming, and testing methodologies.
General Competencies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with CAD tools for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Proven great experience in electronics design and prototyping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of electronic principles and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Specific Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in designing and building mechanical fixtures and electrical test jigs.
- 3+ years of experience in test jig development, ATE design, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with PXI systems and modular instrumentation.
- Proficiency in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, System Link and other test automation software.
- Strong understanding of high-speed digital and RF testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (Altium).
- Excellent Experience with microcontroller programming and window-based PC software development using C, Python, Labview.
- Good knowledge and understanding of cloud technology.
- Good developing experience on database-based applications using SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle and so on.
- Proven experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD and so on.
- Understanding of electronic equipment manufacturing and testing processes.
