Your key duties will include; End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for up to 300 on-site employees Ensuring compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements and Australian payroll legislation Calculating and processing leave, superannuation, taxes and deductions Preparing payroll reports and supporting EOFY requirements Collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain accuracy and data integrity The operation Our client is a well-regarded residential mining operation situated in Central Victoria, east of Bendigo, surrounded by a number of towns within a 50km radius offering a variety of residential options. The operation runs an underground mine and processing plant producing gold and antimony, with a workforce of over 250 permanent employees across professional, technical, mining, processing and trade roles. The business is focused on safe and efficient work practices, with a culture that genuinely prioritises its people and fosters strong community connections. Responding to payroll queries from employees, supervisors and management with professionalism and confidentiality Collaborating with HR, Finance and site leadership to maintain payroll accuracy and data integrity Providing backup support to the broader finance function as required Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems, processes and controls The roster and hours Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 3:00pm 5/2 roster - residential role, home every night 38-hour working week Your skills and experience You'll bring solid payroll experience, a genuine eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
