A leading government agency is seeking a Maintenance Project Support Coordinator to join their team in Sydney. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
About the Role
The Maintenance Project Support Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project documentation, supporting project administration, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective outcomes.
Key Duties
* Review submitted documentation from multiple vendors
* Daily status reporting and updates to key systems
* Ensure all data is maintained to the highest quality standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to increase throughput and efficiency
* Provide project administration support across all maintenance activities

* Uphold safety as a core value, ensuring compliance with safety systems and processes
* Support risk management and incident reporting procedures
* Enhance customer experience by ensuring services exceed expectations
* Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture
* Assist Project Managers with documentation and process improvements
Key Challenges
* Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and of a high quality
* Supporting project teams with administrative and operational tasks
* Driving continuous improvement in processes and team performance
Skills and Experience
Essential
* 1–2 years' experience in a similar administrative/project support role
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to influence and collaborate across internal and external teams
* Experience supporting high-performing teams in a matrix organisation
Desired
* Experience in quality assurance activities
* Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaborative tools
* Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Mandatory Requirements
* Current National Police Check
* Must be an Australian Citizen
* Eligibility for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) clearance
* Ability to meet other role-specific compliance requirements
