Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. Currently we are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Physiotherapy services in the clinical specialty area of Rehabilitation and Aged Care, including the specialty of Ortho-Gerontology, using advanced Physiotherapy clinical practice skills. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. Supports the Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department and P3 Senior Physiotherapistin providing supervision to the P1 Physiotherapy staff and support staff in the unit/clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance. Practices as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Registration Standards and SMHS policies and guidelines.
