We're looking for a Trading Representative / Account Manager with a talent for negotiation and building lasting relationships. You will be responsible for sourcing scrap metal from suppliers throughout South-East Queensland, playing a vital role in our mission to lead the recycling industry.
Location & Compensation
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia – A$180,**********,****** per annum. Full-time, Mid-Senior level.

What You'll Do
Develop and manage supplier relationships to secure used ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.
Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive procurement within company guidelines.
Monitor key performance metrics and collaborate with transport teams for smooth logistics.
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and maintaining positive partnerships.
Complete accurate monthly reports and manage costs in line with budgets.
Who We're Looking For
3+ years in account management, sales, or buying roles.
Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
Proven ability to build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset for spotting market opportunities.
Experience in recycling, waste management, or scrap metal is highly regarded but not essential.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
