The role:
Cater Care is seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants at our Aged Care site in the picturesque city of Horsham, Victoria.
Roster 1: Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Roster 2: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm
What this role involves:
Basic kitchen duties, including sandwich and salad preparation
Plating meals and desserts
Provide excellent customer service to our residents
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Prepare and present texture modified foods
Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
