Who is TeamKids?
TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.
Job Description
This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location: Canterbury
This is a great service there are minimal behaviour challenges and the school are very supportive of TeamKids, the service does not have a dedicated space but is easy to pack up/down.
You'll work across afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday:
After School Care: 3:00 - 6:00pm
The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership?
* Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have FUN with primary school aged children.
* Support ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate
* Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education.
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
* You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
* All successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
