Undercarriage Technical Sales Specialist

ITR Pacific is one of Australia's leading suppliers of undercarriage and earthmoving components, supporting the construction, quarry, mining and civil industries nationally.

We are currently building a specialised national undercarriage sales team focused on driving growth in the heavy construction, quarry and mining sectors. Unlike traditional parts sales roles, this position is highly technical, relationship-driven and commercially focused.

This is an opportunity for a motivated and professional sales operator to build a long-term career within a growing national business while working directly with some of the largest mobile equipment fleets in Australia.

We are seeking driven individuals who can operate autonomously, build high-level relationships and create opportunities in demanding industrial environments.

Location is flexible within Australia.

About the Role

This role will focus on developing and growing undercarriage business within the heavy construction, quarry and mining sectors across your assigned state/region.

You will work closely with existing branch sales teams while also developing and managing your own customer base. The role requires a high level of professionalism, technical aptitude and commercial awareness.

This is not a passive account management role. We are looking for someone who is proactive in the market, capable of opening doors, building relationships and identifying opportunities.

A reasonable level of travel will be required throughout your region.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow undercarriage sales across heavy construction, quarry and mining sectors

Identify and secure new business opportunities with contractors, owner-operators and mining clients

Build long-term relationships with key decision makers including maintenance managers, superintendents and fleet managers

Provide high-level technical and commercial support to customers and internal branch sales teams

Conduct regular site visits, machine inspections and customer meetings

Work alongside local branch representatives to support undercarriage growth initiatives

Assist customers with wear analysis, product selection and application support

Deliver professional presentations and commercial proposals to customers

Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and actively drive conversion

Travel throughout your region as required

Contribute to state-level undercarriage growth strategies and market penetration

What We're Looking For

We are far more interested in attitude, drive and commercial ability than direct undercarriage experience.

Undercarriage knowledge can be taught. Hunger, professionalism and work ethic cannot.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Professional presentation and interpersonal skills

A strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn

A results-driven mindset with a genuine desire to perform

The ability to travel regularly throughout your assigned territory

Experience in industries adjacent to mining, construction, earthmoving, industrial equipment, wear products, hydraulics, OEM equipment, drilling, crushing & screening or technical industrial sales will be highly regarded.
