Track and Field Coach (Throws and Jumps)
We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified Track and Field Coaches (Throws and Jumps) to join our team.
The role of the Coach is to develop and deliver coaching sessions that create a learning workplace in which students of all abilities are supported in the process of skill development.
* Casual position
* Engaged for approximately 6 - 10 hours per week across the season (until September 2026)
* Preferred start: 1 June 2026
* Must be available to attend training sessions, meets, camps and carnivals both before and after school throughout the 2026 season
About You
To be successful in the role you will have:
* A valid Queensland Working with Children Check, Positive Paid Employee Notice
* In-depth knowledge and experience of the relevant sport
* Excellent communication skills with students, coaching staff and parents
* Ability to show initiative and to work independently
* Ability to manage a group of participants effectively
* Engage in reflective practice and a culture to always develop and improve
* Punctual and reliable
* Current first aid and CPR certificate or ability to obtain
