Facility Projects Team Leader – R2746About the Role
The Facility Projects Team Leader is responsible for developing and delivering Council's facility capital works program, contributing to building asset strategies and long‐term planning. The role provides end‐to‐end project management leadership, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders to plan, design, procure and deliver projects. It ensures effective consultation, strong governance, and clear monitoring, reporting and delivery of projects that align with Council's strategic objectives.
What You Will Bring
* Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, or Project Management, or a lesser qualification with extensive relevant work experience.
* Demonstrated experience leading and delivering facility capital works projects across the full project lifecycle.
* Strong project management capability, including design coordination, procurement, contractor management and budget control.
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants and contractors to achieve agreed outcomes.
* Highly developed stakeholder and community engagement skills, with experience consulting internal customers, user groups and external partners.
* Sound technical knowledge of building and construction practices, project governance and local government frameworks.
* A current Driver's Licence and willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
Salary and Conditions
Classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement, ranging from $104,988 to $117,480 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
