About the Role
As the Health and Injury Management Partner you will provide specialist support to the business units to manage workers compensation, rehabilitation and return to work programs.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure safe work participation for employees affected by both work related and non-work-related health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver expert coaching and consultation to facilitate optimal injury management outcomes
Coordinate claims, rehabilitation and return to work activities
Develop and implement case management strategies
Build strong relationships with treating practitioners, insurers and rehabilitation providers
Monitor claim trends and provide data driven insights to improve outcomes
Identify training needs and support delivery of sector specific health initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
Solid experience in a similar position with strong consulting and relationship management skills across injury management, workers compensation and health promotion.
Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, HR / IR, Safety or related fields
Accredited in Return-to-Work coordination (state specific)
Sound experienced with occupational rehabilitation, insurance or employer-based roles
Experienced in implementing workplace health initiatives and managing claims in self-insured or commercial environments
Critical thinker and ability to problem solve
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
Good computer skills (Microsoft suite and Solv Injury)
