About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Intelligent Health Care Australia in the Mid North Coast region (Port Macquarie, NSW; Coffs Harbour and surroundings; Central west of NSW and Dubbo Region). This is a full‐time role that will play a vital part in improving the quality of life for our clients through evidence‐based occupational therapy interventions.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
* Providing occupational therapy services such as home modification, functional capacity assessment, assistive technology prescription
* Collaborating with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve client‐centred goals
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of occupational therapy practices
* Maintaining accurate and timely client documentation and adhering to professional and organisational standards
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated experience in providing occupational therapy services, ideally in a healthcare or community‐based setting
* Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong ability to work autonomously
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
* Commitment to evidence‐based practice and continuous professional development
* Valid driver's license and ability to drive
