Job Description
Join us at Wellard, as an Assistant Coordinator, ready to build your confidence in leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers 34.5 hours per week. You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 6:30-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00-6:00pm (Stay and Play).

About the role
The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you'll gain hands‐on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.
You'll have the opportunity to:
* Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
* Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
* Create exciting, child‐led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
* Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities
Qualifications
* Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
* State working‐with‐children check
* National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
* WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
