ICT & Projects Specialist – PKKP Aboriginal Corporation (Karratha Preferred, Open to Perth)
Drive digital transformation in an organisation shaping the future of Aboriginal governance.
PKKP Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated ICT & Projects Specialist to join our team in Karratha (Open to Perth). This hands-on role supports the rollout of PKKP's ICT Roadmap — enhancing digital systems, data management, and user capability to strengthen organisational performance and cultural governance.
Working alongside archaeologists, anthropologists, rangers, and corporate professionals, you'll play a vital role in building systems that support PKKP's 3-year and 10-year vision for self-determination.
You'll:
* Provide reliable technical support across hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth daily operations for staff.
* Manage and maintain core ICT platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure, supporting secure, stable, and modern digital environments.
* Assist with infrastructure administration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management for servers, devices, and network systems.
* Strengthen cybersecurity and compliance, supporting implementation of frameworks like Essential 8 and ISO 27001.
* Support PKKP's growing data capability — maintaining accurate datasets, helping design reports and dashboards in Power BI, and ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
* Manage ICT assets, device setups, and small procurements, keeping records accurate and up to date.
* Deliver responsive user support and assist with onboarding and system access for staff across multiple locations.
* Build digital confidence across the organisation by providing guidance, training, and friendly technical support.
* Contribute to ICT and digital transformation projects identified in the ICT Roadmap, ensuring new systems and tools are implemented effectively.
* Collaborate closely with the Director ICT and broader teams to deliver modern, secure, and culturally respectful technology solutions that strengthen PKKP's long-term digital capability.
Why join PKKP?
* Karratha-based role with housing support and competitive remuneration.
* Generous professional development opportunities and training pathways.
* Work on exciting tech projects that connect culture, country, and data.
* Limited travel to Perth/Karratha when required for collaboration and training.
* Be part of PKKP's global collaboration — with recent exchanges in New Orleans, France, and Norway.
* Help deliver a long-term vision of Aboriginal self-determination.
What you'll bring:
* 4+ years' ICT or systems engineering experience.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and networking.
* Experience in data analysis, Power BI, or reporting tools highly regarded.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and cultural respect in all work.
