Position Title: Territory Development Manager – DEWALT
Location: Newcastle – Field Based, with circa 4‐5 nights a month regional travel
Employment: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Developing and driving distributor/store sales performance.
* Developing customer relationships and growing market share.
* Promoting products through demonstrations and instructing both retail customers and end users in their use.
* Engaging with end users in key sectors such as agriculture and mining to promote products and identify their needs.
* Identifying in-store incremental merchandising growth opportunities (off‐location).
* Developing stakeholder relationships and collaborating across departments.
* Conducting distributor and end‐user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in‐store, at end‐user sites, and at major trade events.
* Planning weekly and completing daily tasks in Salesforce, ensuring the calendar is up to date and accurate.
* Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories, and materials for demonstrations and training.
Qualifications
* Previous customer engagement experience with a passion for selling and business development.
* Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users.
* The ability and interest to learn the specifications of the hardware industry.
* Strong planning skills and the ability to work in an autonomous environment.
* Experience or exposure in small engine mechanics would be highly regarded.
* Passion to work with customers and end users in the power tool/hand tool/outdoor power equipment industry.
