What do we do?
ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time - even when it’s cloudy or dark - providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.
What are we looking for?
To support the company’s growth, we continue to scale our Sales & Business Development team and looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our global Solutions Team. You will report to our Global Head of Government Solutions in this position.
About the role?
Working closely with the Global Head of Government Solutions, you will work across the existing solutions team to support ICEYE’s future sales strategy and success. You will be responsible for managing the government sales pipeline in your region. Generating leads, qualifying prospects, crafting solutions that meet prospects’ business needs, demonstrating our solutions to potential customers, and managing contract negotiations to effectively bring deals to a successful close, contributing to ICEYE’s revenue objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will be responsible for lead generation and managing the existing sales pipeline, developing key relationships within Government agencies and utilising your existing network to identify opportunities
- You will be uniquely focused on selling a defined Data Product to help government organisations respond quickly in times of emergency recovery
- You will work closely with Government Agencies Responsible for Disaster Management and Resilience at all levels throughout your Region, including but not limited to: National Resilience & Recovery Agency, Geoscience Australia, Bureau of Meteorology, Australian Climate Science Coalition etc.
- Qualify and forecast new business opportunities accurately
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements
- Work as part of a passionate team committed to the success of ICEYE
**Requirements**:
- You will have proven experience with Government Sales across emergency management or related technical areas
- A proven ability of working with Government Services and a developed network
- Demonstrated ability to grow a sales portfolio
- Experience in Insurance/Reinsurance or Risk Consulting with public sector organizations preferred
- Self motivated and proactive work style, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment in support of our clients during emergency situations.
