Construction Manager - NSW
This is a newly created opportunity to join a well-established, multi‐faceted construction business at a pivotal stage of growth in the NSW market.
The business has a strong track record interstate, a workforce of 150+ and an annual turnover of circa $250M. A substantial pipeline of secured work tied to major infrastructure programmes provides long‐term project stability and a consistent flow of projects for the next decade.
In the early stages of building out the NSW operation there are already projects underway and strong traction through existing national client relationships. With significant growth targets the company is looking for a senior hire to shape, influence, and grow the business locally.
The Opportunity
The role offers the chance to step into a senior leadership position where you will play a key part in establishing and expanding the NSW presence. You will have genuine input into strategy, team growth, and project delivery with clear progression opportunities as the business scales.
Projects are diverse and complex, typically delivered in live, operational, and highly regulated environments. The portfolio includes new build, fit‐out, refurbishment, and infrastructure works, generally ranging from $8M–$30M, with the capability and intention to deliver projects up to $100M as the business diversifies.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team with strong Tier 1 backgrounds, within a business that has mature systems, established processes, and a collaborative culture.
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in project delivery on the builder/main contractor side is essential.
* Experience delivering complex projects within live or operational environments.
* Exposure across build, fit‐out, refurbishment, or infrastructure projects.
* Proven ability managing stakeholders in highly regulated environments.
* A proactive, driven mindset with the ambition to help grow a business and team.
* Leadership capability, with the ability to influence and provide direction in a growing market.
* Aviation experience beneficial but not essential.
