Kindergarten Teacher/Director – St Brigid's Catholic Kindergarten, Emerald.
Employment Details
Part‐time continuing (26.6 hpw, 7‐day fortnight + release time). Start date: As soon as possible or negotiable. Salary range: $43.67 – $62.90 per hour (pending experience) plus Director Allowance. What We Are Looking For
* Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate).
* Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education.
* Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* A desire to serve the community of Emerald.
Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration and/or relevant ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification.
* Hold one of the following Child Protection competencies or be willing to obtain:
o CHCPRT025 – Identify and report children and young people at risk.
o CHCPRT001 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
o CHCPRT026 – Support the rights and safety of children and young people.
o CHCPRT002 – Support the rights and safety of children and young people.
o CHCECE057 – Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles.

About Us
St Brigid's Catholic Kindergarten, Emerald was established in 2013 and operates a five‐day fortnight with a current enrolment of 22 children.
