Palisades Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Senior Humanitarian and International Development Design Consultants to join our team on a contract basis. This role is Remote/Australia-based, with possible Canberra and Indo-Pacific travel. The assignment is expected to run for approximately three months, with a possible extension, and will involve producing a Design Plan, Aide Memoire, updated Investment Design Document, and statement of requirements for the AHP Support Unit.

We are seeking EOIs for the following roles:

1. Team Leader / Lead Investment Design Consultant

Leads the overall design process, methodology, client engagement, consultation strategy, team coordination, quality assurance and final writing. Requires senior business case investment design experience, humanitarian/development programming knowledge, strong stakeholder facilitation skills and excellent technical writing.

2. Humanitarian Partnerships, Disaster READY and Response Specialist

Leads technical analysis of NGO partnership models, disaster preparedness, anticipatory action, rapid response, protracted crisis programming, localisation, funding modalities and humanitarian response coordination. Requires strong Indo-Pacific humanitarian experience.

3. MEL, GEDSI, Localisation, Risk and Budget Specialist

Leads program logic, MEL framework, GEDSI analysis, localisation indicators, risk annex and budget analysis. Requires strong DFAT MEL/design experience, practical GEDSI capability and ability to produce implementation-ready annexes.

Applicants must hold a current Australian Government Baseline security clearance or higher and be able to provide evidence if shortlisted.

What we're looking for

* Minimum 8 years of experience in humanitarian or international development programme design and implementation
* Extensive knowledge of international development best practices and relevant policy frameworks
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional relevant languages highly desirable
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
