About the Role: This role sits within our City Technical Services team, which manages and leads activities of Council's open spaces, including bushland and various environmental projects. Reporting to the Team Leader Bushcare, this role will support delivery of Council's Bushcare/Bushland Management function including education programs, volunteer groups, contracted sites, environmental projects, and managing the internal Bushcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of Bushcare/Bushland Management functions, including education programs and volunteer groups.
Coordinate contracted sites and environmental projects.
Manage the internal Bushcare team.
About You
We're looking for someone with a relevant qualification and demonstrated experience in natural resource management or bush regeneration. You will also bring a customer‐focused approach and a can‐do attitude to engage and influence key stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for Council and the community.

What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications in natural resource management or bush regeneration or relevant experience.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Construction Induction Card (White Card).
* First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Capacity to plan, prioritise and organise daily work schedules.
* Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading a team.
* Knowledge of and experience in natural resource management.
* Experience in bush regeneration, conservation, or land management.
* Experience in coordinating volunteer programs and activities.
* Understanding and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles.
* Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
* Appropriate written and oral communication skills.
