Job Title: Mining Engineer
The mining engineer will be responsible for the delivery of short-term planning outputs. These include:
* Dig and dump designs to optimize site operations
* Data analysis to inform strategic decisions
* Dozer push designs to ensure efficient material movement
* Rehab designs to maintain site productivity
* Operational plans to align with business objectives
Depending on your skills set, you may be required to utilize or develop skills in software such as Spry for the execution of a short-term and mid-term mine plan.
Effective communication is key in this role, where you will be communicating designs/plans effectively with the production team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivery of the weekly planning pack
* Compliance to site Safety Health and Environmental standards
* Provide information to relevant staff to assist in reporting requirements
* Assisting the drill and blast engineer where required
* Assessing opportunities for improvements in operational efficiency
* Utilize your skills to continually aim for innovative solutions
