A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.About The RoleThe Materials Planner will be responsible for the planning and management of raw material inventory levels in a way that is effective in meeting production schedule requirements, whilst taking into account overall supply chain efficiencies and working capital targets.Location: Lonsdale, AustraliaReporting to: Supply Chain ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with business systems, reports and production schedules, ensure the timely arrival / placement / confirmation of all material requirements from outside suppliers (purchase orders) and Kerry Group sites globally (Stock Transfer Orders)Lead the resolution of any stock out issues to avoid compromising production and/or customer delivery deadlinesSupport and participate in the commercialisation process through to launch of all new products introduced into the site.Work closely with the Kerry Procurement Team on material requirements and supply issuesGenerate and report on weekly ‘At Risks’ materials and flag up projected stock shortfalls. Provide commentary on actions take to meet deadlinesDevelop clear and robust action plans for slow moving stocks to reduce stock write-off riskWork with and develop expertise in material call-off planning using SAP ECC & APO modulesManage, review and maintain relevant master data settings as it relates to safety stocks, MOQ / Ordering lot sizes and lead times. Work with suppliers and/or procurement on optimisation opportunities with view to maximise cash flow and meet agreed targetsAnalyse system downloads to provide raw material requirement forecasts to suppliersSupport the vendor OTIF process and finalize OTIF results for allocated portfolioAssist procurement in obtaining corrective actions for supplier performance issues.
