The Role
We have a great opportunity for you to join as a Territory Manager. Based out of Kalgoorlie - Gold Fields you will be responsible for the growth and retention of select Managed Customers and seeking and converting new business prospects.
Additional responsibilities in this role also include:
- Winning, retaining and growing customers to contribute to the achievement of sales, service and profit targets in the gases and welding equipment market is significant to this role
- Identify, develop, and commercialize growth opportunities with existing customer accounts and new business prospects
- Develop mutually rewarding relationships with prospective and current customers
- Provide technical assistance, solutions and deliver outstanding customer experience
- Working collaboratively across internal functions and plants
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Strong selling and business development skills including customer negotiation
- Thorough knowledge of price and contract management
- Experience growing existing accounts, generation and conversion
- Excellent time management skills afford a results focused approach, you take initiative
- Natural negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Although not essential, welding, fabrication, or similar trade experience will be highly regarded
- You have the ability to travel and hold a clean driver's license - essential
