Role: Casual, must be willing to travel to the above locations and be available for various shifts, Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm.

As a Pathology Collector, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering quality service and supporting the local communities where you work. You will provide a friendly welcome and assurance to customers, contributing to the team's mission to be the best pathology provider in Australia.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare.

* Collect samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
* Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample
* Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times
* Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing
* Liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector or have gained a Cert III and are starting a Pathology Collection career. A Registered Nurse may also apply to swap weekend/overnight work for regular daytime shifts. If you have no pathology experience but have a customer service focus and healthcare background, training and mentoring are provided.

* Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background; Phlebotomy experience is preferred
* Excellent customer service and communication with empathy
* Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously in a solo clinic
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple clinics
* Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with work rights

A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required or applicants must be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.

Vaccination and Safety
* Vaccination evidence for vaccine-preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B is required
* Other vaccinations based on location may be required
