This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026
The School of Special Educational Needs: Sensory (SSEN: S) provides educational support for children with hearing loss, vision impairment or dual sensory loss. The staff strive to meet the individual needs of learners by providing educational support for children and students while supporting schools to provide fully accessible learning environments, curriculum, and school communities. Educational support is available across the public school and non-government system, from birth to Year 12. As a state-wide specialist service, SSEN: S is part of a network of specialist schools which operate under the Statewide Services pillar of Service Delivery.

The Role
The successful applicant would assist the Manager Corporate Services (MCS) in the daily financial, marketing and corporate sponsorship aspects of the school's operations. This includes financial planning, monitoring, research, reporting and analysis to meet established objectives and outcomes relative to business plans. You will provide assistance to the MCS with administering the school's financial resources, including undertaking end-of-month procedures, checking for data integrity and collating figures for financial planning and budgeting.

The role involves providing high-level administrative support to the MCS, including operating and coordinating school databases, records and management information systems, and establishing and maintaining the school accounts, physical assets and purchasing of resources. You will ensure financial, administrative and information systems are administered in compliance with relevant legislation and Departmental policies and guidelines whilst undertaking minor research and project work in relation to business trends and issues which may impact the operation of the financial aspects of the school's operational business, as required.

* Demonstrated well developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to apply innovative thinking in problem solving
