Location: Donnybrook Hotel Lithgow, NSW (may also include an affiliate organisation: The White Tank Hotel in West Wyalong NSW 2671)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate or by negotiation; must be available for a trial in the next week or two
Salary: $78,000.00 per year

The Role
* Preparing and cooking menu items according to our restaurant's recipes and specifications.
* Ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
* Monitoring food stock levels and ordering when supplies are low.
* Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared correctly and on time.
* Planning menus, specials, and estimating food/labour costs.
* Monitoring quality of dishes.
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers.
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.
* Selecting and training staff.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a restaurant chef.
* Knowledge of cooking techniques and Australian food safety regulations.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills / proficient in English.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment.
* Availability to work weekends and holidays.
