Job Description:
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cleaning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to ensure a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
You will work closely with the Facility Manager and Hotel Services Team Leader to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility. This includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, main entrance, outdoor entertainment areas, admin offices and dining halls, as well as providing laundry services.
This role requires strong physical capabilities, including bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items. You must be able to perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues or our residents.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building supportive relationships with residents, colleagues and families. You should be a strong communicator, problem solver and be able to think on your feet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the facility
* Cleaning resident rooms, common areas and other designated areas
* Providing laundry services
* Working collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and Hotel Services Team Leader
* Adhering to safety procedures and protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in cleaning or a related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending and squatting
* Basic computer literacy
