A wonderful opportunity now exists for a Casual School Crossing Supervisor to join Warrnambool City Council. This position will ensure the safe passage of children and adults at school crossings and be the friendly face that kids remember and trust.
Job Details
Location of the crossing can change daily depending on the day. The School Crossing hours are generally between 8:00 am to 9:00 am in the mornings and between 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the afternoons, Monday to Friday, excluding school holiday periods.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Knowledge of road rules and ability to demonstrate good sense of judgement.
* Availability to work on short notice.
* Ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions.
Training and Uniform
Council provides training and an official uniform to all successful applicants.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $40.45 per hour (inclusive of industry allowance and 25% casual loading).
