Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Pega Developer to join our team in Sydney on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise‐grade Pega‐based solutions, building an integrated case‐management platform that drives critical business processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications
* Design and develop applications using Pega PRPC and BPM platform
* Lead solution design, ensuring alignment with Pega architecture and best practices
* Develop reusable enterprise components, rules, and workflows
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver high‐quality solutions across multiple releases
* Conduct code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
* Oversee implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Pega applications
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
* Stay current with latest Pega technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Pega development (PRPC) across the full lifecycle (design, build, deploy, test)
* Proven experience in an architectural or leadership role within Pega projects
* Strong understanding of case management and workflow design
* Solid programming fundamentals in Core Java and Object‐Oriented Design
* Strong database experience, including PL/SQL and performance tuning
* Front‐end knowledge: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
* Experience with system integrations using SOAP/HTTP connectors, Web Services, and listeners (MQ, JMS, File, Email)
* Strong experience working in Agile environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Mandatory Certification
* Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
* Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA – P1)
