Senior Case Manager - Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care

Bendigo

Partnering with a leading Aboriginal organisation in Bendigo (relocation role)

Full-Time | 12-Month Fixed Term (0.8 Full-Time Equivalent considered)

Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 5 - $100,000+ plus salary packaging and 12% superannuation

Are you an experienced Child Protection Practitioner (CPP3) with at least two years of mainstream Child Protection experience and ready for your next career move?

We are currently partnering with a respected Aboriginal organisation in Bendigo to recruit a Senior Case Manager - Aboriginal Children in Aboriginal Care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CPP3 practitioner looking to transition into a culturally grounded, community-led environment while continuing to utilise strong statutory skills.

About the Role

The Senior Case Manager plays a critical role in supporting children, families, and the broader community to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive development.

In this role, you will:

* Work collaboratively with children, families, and community to achieve sustainable outcomes
* Operate within a statutory framework under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
* Exercise legal delegations and responsibilities in line with statutory requirements
* Undertake protective interventions where required to ensure child safety
* Support Aboriginal children to remain connected to family, culture, and community

This position enables you to apply your CPP3-level experience in a senior capacity within a culturally strong organisation.

About You (Essential)
* Current or recent CPP3 Child Protection Practitioner experience (minimum two years at CPP3 level)
* Strong experience in mainstream statutory Child Protection
* Demonstrated capability managing complex and high-risk cases
* Confident operating within legislative and court frameworks
* Commitment to culturally safe and respectful practice
* Willingness to relocate to Bendigo if not currently based locally
