Rocket Agency is looking for a senior, client-facing Head of Marketing Analytics to lead our analytics function across client delivery, measurement, and performance reporting.
Modern marketing measurement isn't perfect — iOS changes, modelling issues, data gaps, platform mismatches. If you know how to lead through that complexity and keep clients grounded in what matters, this role is for you.
This role reports to the Director of Digital.
About the role
You will own Rocket's marketing analytics function—leading how we measure and demonstrate marketing performance to clients, ensuring reporting integrity, and elevating a high-performing team through complex attribution and tracking challenges.
You will be joining an established, high-performing team of 4 Data Specialists (senior and junior) and a Data Team Lead, all ready to take the next step under strong leadership.
Clear areas of contribution include:
Pre-sales, pitching, scoping, pricing, and delivery management
* Support pre-sales conversations where measurement, reporting, or complexity is a key factor
* Help scope analytics requirements, shape pricing, and define delivery expectations
* Unlock growth opportunities through stronger analytics capability and clearer measurement
Client Experience, client-facing support, and escalations
* Be Rocket's senior authority on marketing analytics and measurement
* Be the person the agency turns to when tracking or reporting issues go beyond standard troubleshooting
* Lead resolution of complex measurement challenges across platforms and client environments
* Ensure clients trust the data and that decisions are made on solid ground
Mentoring, training, and capability building
* Lead and develop Rocket's Data team, uplifting confidence, quality, and delivery consistency
* Train Account Managers and Channel Leads to interpret and communicate performance clearly
* Keep Rocket current with best practices in attribution, measurement, and marketing analytics
Data tech, tooling, and partnerships
* Guide Rocket's analytics stack across GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, CRM tracking, and Google Ads
* Evaluate data tools, subscriptions, and external partners that improve delivery and insight
* BigQuery and broader data infrastructure experience is beneficial, but not required
About you
We're looking for a senior marketing analytics leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client agency environment and brings both technical credibility and strong client presence.
Key requirements
* Minimum 2 years of Senior experience in marketing analytics within an agency. Team leadership experience preferred but not required.
* Strong client-facing presence. Confident in high-stakes conversations and escalations
* Deep understanding of performance measurement across paid media, SEO, and web analytics
* Advanced capability in GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, and marketing reporting systems
* Proficiency with Google Sheets.
* Strong working knowledge of marketing data connectors and workflow tooling (e.g. Supermetrics, Zapier, or equivalent)
* Comfort working with datasets and modern analytics concepts (SQL/warehousing exposure is a plus)
* Experience implementing or working with server-side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) environments
* Familiarity with Conversion APIs (e.g. Meta CAPI) and Enhanced Conversions.
