We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our bakery team as a packer. This casual position involves performing various duties such as sorting, packaging, flow wrapping, storing, slicing, and labelling of baked products. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and standard condition while following prescribed safety- and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Sort and pack baked products according to instructions
* Operate semi-automatic bread slicing machine and flow-wrapping machine
* Accurately pick and pack items against packing instructions and complete required reports
* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and standard condition
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, physical fitness, and excellent communication skills. Soft skills such as punctuality, reliability, honesty, and respecting others will also be highly regarded.
