Your opportunity
The Academic Portfolio Office is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Curriculum and Accreditation Coordinator to support strategic curriculum and accreditation activities for the University, including opportunities to contribute to new course development and educational technology projects. The team is primarily based at Lismore; however, there is flexibility for the right candidate to be based at the Gold Coast, working more independently while remaining closely connected to the broader team. You will work closely with Faculties, Colleges, and Governance teams to coordinate course and unit development, ensuring processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with University requirements.
In this role, you will:
* Coordinate course and unit development activities, working closely with stakeholders to draft and prepare submissions, reports, and approvals.
* Liaise with Colleges, Faculties, and Governance teams to ensure accurate course information, monitor key timelines, and maintain records in the University's Unit and Course Management System.
* Provide administrative and project support to the Academic Portfolio Office, including gathering data, preparing documentation, and assisting with secretariat support and diary management as needed.
* Collaborate across teams to support the smooth implementation of course changes, student progression, and continuous improvement initiatives across the University.

Required qualifications and experience
* At least two years of recent experience in course accreditation, administration, or a similar process.
* Superior verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with senior executives, and confidence in performing executive support duties.
* Demonstrated ability to research, interpret and apply information from a range of sources, provide analysis and recommendations.
* Strong analytical and writing skills, with experience preparing complex documents.
* Previous success planning projects, and the ability to work to deadlines and engage stakeholders.
* Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, and demonstrated ability to manage confidential documents and communication.
Familiarity with SCU internal systems, particularly UCMS, will be highly regarded, though not a requirement.
Benefits and working conditions
* Part-time (80%), fixed-term (until the end of 2026)
* Location: Lismore, NSW 2480 (preferred) or Gold Coast, QLD 4225. Relocation assistance available.
* HEW Level 5. Base salary ranges from $66,850 - $74,286 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. Total remuneration package up to $86,914.
