The Contracts Administrator is a construction role which sits in the Contracts Management department within the broader Customer Project Execution (CPX) team. The CPX team is responsible for the construction of wind farms, from producing proposals for developers through to handover to the Service organisation.
Working collaboratively with the Construction, Legal and Procurement teams, as well as with other relevant stakeholders, including the Client/Principal and Subcontractors, the Contracts Administrator works to preserve the commercial interest of the Company while ensuring contractual compliance.
Responsibilities
* Monitor subcontractor progress, review variations, delay claims, and payment claims in coordination with the Construction team
* Provide commercial and contractual support, ensuring compliance with engagement terms, bonds, insurances, and SOPA requirements
* Manage contract administration systems, including registers for variations, delays, EOT claims, and risks
* Draft and review contractual correspondence, EOT notices, and variation documentation; assist in dispute resolution processes
* Support upstream program monitoring, contract negotiations, and provide advice to Legal and Procurement teams on contract management
Qualifications
* 3+ years of Contract Administration experience in civil and electrical works, with experience working on large EPC projects
* An understanding of wind energy and power infrastructure
* Degree qualified in a relevant area (engineering, law, finance)
* Strong contractual and commercial experience within the construction industry (civil/infrastructure, renewable energy, oil & gas), ideally in EPC/EPCM project environments.
* Knowledge of Construction and Contract Law, with experience in contract negotiation and administration.
* Ability to simplify complex issues and collaborate effectively across cultures, fostering a supportive team environment.
* Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and platforms like Procore is advantageous.
* Commitment to health and safety and a passion for delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.
