As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll work alongside the Venue Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations.
You'll lead a dedicated front-of-house team, ensure smooth and efficient service across multiple dining areas, and maintain the welcoming, high-quality atmosphere our guests expect.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys the pace of a busy venue, but with the polish and professionalism of an upmarket environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Venue Manager in all aspects of venue operations
Lead and motivate FOH staff to deliver premium service standards
Ensure smooth service across dining and event spaces
Assist with rostering, stock management and stock orders
Build strong relationships with guests, enhancing their experience
Train and oversee a large team of young staff
About You
Proven experience in a leadership role within a busy restaurant, club, or premium casual dining environment
Professional presentation and strong communication skills
A hands-on leader who leads by example and inspires others
Strong understanding of food operations
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
