This opportunity sits within the Pricing & Analytics team, focusing on pricing models and insights that guide business performance. You will apply actuarial techniques and data-driven thinking to build pricing solutions that balance customer value and commercial outcomes. The role works closely with product and analytics teams to deliver meaningful improvements across niche and broader portfolios.
What You'll Do
* Design and refine pricing models using statistical analysis and data insights to improve portfolio performance and profitability.
* Conduct end-to-end pricing reviews, including demand modelling, optimisation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure strong business outcomes.
* Collaborate with product, portfolio, and analytics teams to align pricing strategies with customer and commercial objectives.
* Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations that support decision-making at multiple levels.
* Support continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and modelling approaches across the team.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in general insurance with exposure to pricing, actuarial analysis, or portfolio management, ideally within motor or related lines.
* Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python, applying these tools to data analysis, modelling, and automation of workflows.
* Strong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning methods, with practical application in pricing or analytics contexts.
* Ability to interpret financial data, forecasting outputs, and portfolio performance to guide actionable insights.
* Experience working with stakeholders, communicating analytical outcomes clearly, and influencing business decisions.
