Support worker required for for a young male and a number of health conditions.
Must be able to work with young people with higher support needs, has had seizure management training, that is up to date.
About the Role
He is an energetic 3 yr old, and the family is looking for in-home supports for 4 hrs on a Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. Supports would include his care, lots of play, interaction, implementation of speech and OT programs, as well as general assistance around the house if he is asleep.
His additional support needs, he has uncontrolled seizures, for which he requires oxygen (have home oxygen) and medication.
There are seizure management plans in place, and successful staff would receive specific training through the Womens and Children's Health Network.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
* Certificate IV in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
* Current Manual Handling, First Aid, and CPR certificates.
* Valid NDIS and WWCC clearance; WORKING WITH CHILDREN CERTIFICATE
Duties Include:
* Assisting with care, including and toileting.
* Domestic cleaning and laundry tasks.
* Some Food preparation.
* Providing support and assistance during day activities.
